Lighthouses were once widely used to mark dangerous coastlines, hazardous shoals, reefs, and safe entries into harbors. They are now an historical landmark since the use of modern electronic navigational systems. Today lighthouses are a popular design choice for the artist. We took inspiration from the famous Cape Hatteras lighthouse on the outer banks of North Carolina to create a fusible COE96 glass lighthouse.
