Ingredients

  • COE90 - Project Kit
  • COE96 - Project Kit
  • (1) 5¼” Square White Glass
  • (1) 5¼” Square Clear Glass
  • Frit and Stringers
  • Fusing Glue
  • Slumping Mold

Directions

  1. Gather Supplies: (1) 5¼” square white and (1) 5¼” square clear glass, stringers, perfect pebbles, precut glass shapes, frit, murrine leaves, and adhesive for placement.
  2. Bend Stringers: Gently warm the stringer over a lit candle or place them on a curved mold to create your flower stems.
  3. Thoroughly clean base glass and design pieces.
  4. Layer the white glass base on top of the clear glass base and FULL FUSE.
  5. Arrange your design pieces on your full fused glass base and experiment with different layouts before committing to a final design. Try shifting the flowers, stems, and accents until you find a balanced arrangement that feels just right.
  6. Once you are happy with your layout, glue all piece in place to secure the design. Add frit as desired. Allow the piece to dry completely for 24 hours before moving it to the kiln. Fire to a CONTOUR FUSE.
  7. Place your fused piece centered on the mold, ensuring it is balanced evenly. Fire to a SLUMP FUSE to shape the plate. We used Bullseye Slumper 8997 mold.
